Rags to Riches

Today we did a game called Rags to Riches were we answer questions and if we get it right we get more money. I really enjoyed this game because it was really intense if you got one wrong you would have to start again. There are 15 questions and I got all of them right. Next time I hope we can play a game just like this.

DLO - Collaborative Problem Solving

Today for math we did collaborative problem solving were we work in teams to find the answers for the questions our teacher have given us. I think that this task was easy because I got to work with others which then I can teach and learn from others. I hope next week we can have harder questions to work with.

Prototec 20.2.2018

Today we did prototec for math. We each have different levels as I am on level 7. I still have some                  mistakes but it is becomes on the little time they give you to answer. It was not really difficult because I knew most of the things. I hope next time I can get 100%.

Today for the morning session my class and I did a DLO on our Collaborative Problem Solving. My partner and I found this task very difficult, because as year 8's we have to do more extreme and intense work. I think we can achieve by being with different people to help us and teach new strategies we haven't learnt before.

I found this task easy because we were able to use the strategies we knew and also we had a bunch of people to help one another. I think I can improve by paying more attention in class during maths, and have a companion to help me.

Prototec 5/2/18

Today for prototec I got 50%. It was not my best as it is the start of the year. I think that it was kinda hard because I left all my knowledge at home. I will try harder next time by learning the things I don't know to improve.

Summer Learning Journey Week 3 Day 4 Activity 1

Out of the gate and off for a walk went Hairy Maclary from Donaldson’s Dairy. Hairy Maclary went down to G.I dairy. He waited for Mrs Ferry to buy a bunch of berries. She came out of the dairy looking quite scary. Hairy Maclary from Donaldson's Dairy went running to Saint Mary. With tails in the air they trotted on down past the shops and the park to the far end of town. They sniffed at smells and they snooped at each door, when suddenly, out of the shadows they saw Hairy Maclary and Saint Mary. They gathered there group and waddle on down to Mrs Ferry to see if she was at the dairy. They went on home to Mrs Ferry and Hairy Maclary was finally home to Donaldson Dairy.

Dear Mr Hendricks

We are writing to you to give us a chance to have a dance class. We would really appreciate it if we are able to have a instructor to teach us dance. In my opinion I think the dance is very good for our physical bodies.

Key Competencies

This week in Room 6 we learnt about Key Competencies. They are important because they help us as students have a peaceful and helpful environment. Using them in class will have you work hard and have a better attitude, and being a more humble person.
