WALT: identify persuasive language features in a text
Today me and a group of others did a DLO on Emma Watson and her speech on feminism. We listened to her speech and spot out the persuasive elements for a persuasive speech. We helped each other explain the different elements and to learn about feminism. Thank you for viewing my blog >> LINK

Wow Mya this was a very powerful speech, which illustrated all of the elements you can use when speech writing. I learnt so much in your 'breadown' of the speech and felt like going back and analysing speeches I have written. What do you think is the one thing that makes you want to listen to a speech? What part do your emotions play in getting your main message across? How do you persuade people that your message needs to be heard? Well done.
