Pulleys
|
A wheel lets the rope slide easier and which can pull water from a well. This uses effort and a load.

Inclined Plane
|
A inclined plane is a slide that makes heavy objects easy to move.

Lever
|
A lever can pick up,push and lift something with effort, fulcrum and something heavy like a load.

Screw
|
A screw cannot be pulled out using a hammer but you can use it also to hang things and to put things on the walls.

Wedge
|
I wedge is something that separates a whole of something like a block of wood. This uses output force and input force.

Gears
|
Gears are toothed wheels and axles. Gears transfer power from one shaft to another. Gears may change the direction of rotation and the speed. They are compound machines with forms of levers in the teeth and the wheel and axle.

The wheel and axle is another form of lever. The bar is changed into a circle moving around fulcrum.
