💃 The best dance teacher 💃

We had a dance teacher called Maddie. We made the best dance in the Glen Innes history so thank you. She was my friend and on her last day I bought her chocolate. I hope she is having fun even when she is doing exams. I hope she is doing well and we are going to make you very proud and win. Thanks Maddie well best friend. BFF!

Begin your story here

The wind howled menacingly like a wolf at the full moon. Lightning licked across the evil sky like a painter’s paintbrush tormenting the clouds. Im youtuber making content for other people's life and to make people smile, laugh and to have fun. I went to Florida to help people suffering.

The scribble of a place mixes up like fruitsalade and with a overlapping storm. The twisted, rumbling sound, effects my microphone as I pull out my vlogging camera. The camera screech's and wakes up. As the tornado is spinning like a spinning, spring going round and round. My camera is being wiped away. I hold tightly. I wrap myself in a oversized, waterlogged wet jumper with Cook Island on the back. I whimper and whine climbing a 4 story house to reach my family’s that need help. I’m frozen as dry ice molding into my blood.

I climb and I slip. Feeling the rope tighten around my waist I feel me slipping under my breath, knowing something bad was about to happen. Seeing my camera man trample over the brick wall to get me, he’s reaching his long tentacle arms but can’t reach I look down seeing a image I will never forget. It rips and I feel my hanging from my death. I can only think about my family and my life but this wasn'tz the time to give up.

Plan A! I grab tightly onto my rope and start swing side to side. I reach my hand out to reach my friends tentacle arm but just lightly touch his hand but didn't get a good grip on him. I swing and swing as the rope rips faster and faster slightly slipping under my breath.

Plan B! I tell my camera man to go without me, but as I say that I tell him to give me his rope so we can go up together we try but we don’t succeed. Now we both are in trouble.

Plan C! I look up to see a rope coming from the 4th floor I grab the rope and now were going up. There survivors helping us but we were supposed to help them and it didn’t go the way it was planned.

“Thank you, I thought I was going to lose everything captioning a satisfying moment like this”, I said

“No, I should thank you, you climbed a 4 floor building to get to us no one has ever done this before”,

they say

“We all admire you!”, responded the survivors.

Then we grab everyone and head back down.

I helped them get into the party bus that had many others. I borrowed it from Logan Paul. I made a pyramid out of water and food, that was as big as a elephant that keeps on eating and eating. Taking these people to safety is a choice that I made. I wish I could do more, be safe Florida!

📒 Protagonist 📒

We learned about perpendicular for maths today. We used a protractor, compass and a pencil. We made it on a single paper and than did it in our math books. It was fun learning something new, and get to use things very differently.

Protagonist is our word for the day!

We had to read a Maori Myth and then write about the protagonist in that story.

Maori Myth: Kupe travels around Aotearoa

Kupe is the protagonist in the story Kupe travels around Aotearoa. He has the great battle with the eerie monster of the ocean. The giant Wheke! He continued to fight the giant monster and won. Winner! He loved to travel around places he’s never been before, like porirua, Rimu Rapa, Makaro and so much more. He goes around with his family and is inspired by Aotearoa. He is the person that wants to travel and learn about the fantastic things that not much people see.

👌 Mrs Tuakoi danced 👌

This was the very first time one of our teachers danced at our school for the Tongan Language week. Amazing! Miss did many things for the Tongan language week and it was amazing. Mrs Tuakoi had fun with this and we did too. Thank you Mrs Tuakoi.

😨 Warriors 😨

Today we met the warriors. We learnt about hydration, sleep and belongings. We had a team leader who was Malae. We also had a reader who was Jolie. Then we had the two people who had to do burpees which was Hunter and me. The team leader had to make up a buzzer and our one was Dab and the other team's name was Bang. Jolie had to read a paragraph about sleep. Then at the very end we had to do something called burpees me and hunter the sport people out of room 8 went and did it. I did the example and everyone was screaming go Mya and go Hunter. We did the burpees in 30 seconds and we versed room 7. The score was 22 to 18. Room 8 won. We got asked a question which was how do you feel? and I said stressed. We got to choose a prize and it was a water bottle. It was a very educating lesson we learnt today.

Tongan Language Week

In the school office we have a display of things in tonga because this week is Tongan language week. We try many things that are involved with the tongan environment. In New Zealand it is a multicultural country and we need to learn about the different cultures. I learnt something in togan the number 10. Hongofulu. What would you do to live harmoniously in NZ multicultural society? I would like to learn more about the cultures and the different kinds of language.

🔮 School Expedition 🔮

Today we had a school expedition. It looked fantastic! We saw room 1’s simple machines all the way up to room 12. They all were unique in a different way. Room 7, 12, 11, 4 and 3 were amazing but of course room 8’s has the best. They talked about pulleys, wheels and axles, wedge and inclined plane.

In the first 3 terms I have accelerated. I have moved from a 3p to a 4p. I now have a greater understanding of decimals, fractions and percentages but I have also learned to focus more. By the end of the year I would love to achieve a 4a and higher. I also think that my weakness is to multiply and divide fractions and to also Solve problems with multiplication and division of decimals numbers.

In the first 3 terms I have accelerated so much. I have moved from a 3p all the way to a 4a. AMAZING. I have improved so much I think because I can understand the text that was given and also I can complete vocab and independent activities. By the end of the year I would like to reach a 5b and higher. I would also like to learn  Know how to work out new words and what they mean

In the first 3 terms I have keeped my results the same. I have moved from a 2a all the way to a 3b. I have improved that I now can write a better explanation story by using better word choices. By the end of the year I would like to reach a 4a and higher. By the end of the year would also like to learn to use different variety of sentences in my paragraphs and also edit and maybe even use better word. Keep to the topic sentence.
